Post-Jam Update


Hello adventurers!

Today's update is a minor release based on some player feedback from the most recent Feedback Quest 6 game jam. Thanks to everyone who participated in the jam, whether as an entrant, a reviewer, or both!

Change log:

  • Some clickable events in the prologue now provide background information on characters or the world, rather than a generic text box
  • Miscellaneous dialog and tutorial text fixes
  • Re-added the option to Disable overworld encounters, in order to support future content
  • Added some hint text to a puzzle in the library ruins
  • Auto switched back to Lunara's arrow field skill at the beginning of the dungeon
  • Increased the counter rate on "Needler" family monsters
  • Added additional music changes to some cut scenes

Important note, this update contains some behind the scenes tweaks that impact combat, and may cause unintended behavior when used with older saves. I'd encourage starting a new save file.

Chapter 2 is still coming along, in parallel with an effort to get the demo onto Steam soon. With any luck, I'll have more to share on both those developments in the next few weeks. Until then, happy adventuring!
